Metal Worker / Panel Beater - Full Time, Permanent
Location: Ballyclare
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our client in Ballyclare to recruit a skilled Metal Worker / Panel Beater to join their expanding team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Repairing or replacing damaged vehicle body panels in line with job specifications, including chassis and framework
• Dismantling vehicles and carrying out repairs by restoring damaged panels or replacing those beyond repair
• Following manufacturer guidelines and modification bulletins when repairing or replacing chassis and panel work
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and efficiency

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience in MIG and spot welding
• Experience in panel beating and use of fillers
• Experience removing and replacing both welded and bolt-on panels
• Strong focus on quality workmanship and efficiency
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices
• Honest, courteous, and accountable approach to work
• Methodical, motivated, and enthusiastic
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience working on commercial or heavy goods vehicles
• Experience with cab and chassis straightening and alignment
• Experience carrying out full cab replacements
• Experience working with metal, electrical, and trim components
• HGV driving licence (desirable but not essential)
