Job Title: Warehouse Labourer / Counterbalance Driver (Pallet Area)
Location: Atherstone (CV9 2SQ)
Pay Rate: £16.44 per hour
Shift Pattern: 5 on / 3 off – 8:00pm start (9-hour shifts)
Contract: Temp to Perm

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Labourers / Counterbalance Drivers to work within the pallet area at a busy, modern distribution centre in Atherstone.

This is a physically demanding role involving manual handling, pallet movement, and warehouse operations. The role may also include outdoor working depending on operational needs.

Please note: This site will be relocating to Bardon in March 2027. Candidates must be able to drive and be within a suitable commuting distance to Bardon for future relocation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Moving pallets within the warehouse and yard areas
• Loading and unloading goods
• Working in the pallet area supporting warehouse operations
• Manual handling and physically demanding tasks
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Potential outdoor work in all weather conditions

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test (carried out at our Nuneaton office if successful)
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to future Bardon site
• Reliable, physically fit, and hardworking
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
