Job Description: Overview We are seeking motivated and experienced groundworks operatives to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery such as dumpers and rollers to facilitate efficient earth-moving and compaction processes on construction sites. Your expertise will help ensure the smooth progress of projects, maintaining safety standards and high-quality workmanship throughout every phase of construction. Duties Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Basic groundworks and drainage Receive instruction from seniors to complete the work to the best of your ability Coordinate with site supervisors and other equipment operators to plan daily tasks and optimize workflow. Follow all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to site safety guidelines at all times. Maintain accurate records of machine usage, maintenance schedules, and operational logs for project documentation. Requirements Proven experience working on a civil engineering site and operating dumpers, rollers, or similar heavy machinery in a construction environment would be desirable.
