Administrator Opportunity - Northampton Swan Valley (NN4)

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Administrator to join our client''s busy and well-established operation in Northampton Swan Valley (NN4).

Our client is a leading name in the distribution industry, supplying a wide range of beers, wines, and spirits to the public sector-offering a fast-paced and dynamic working environment with excellent long-term prospects.

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday

Pay & Contract

  • -14.01 per hour (PAYE)
  • Temp ongoing contract

The Role

As an Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the distribution function.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and scheduling all inbound deliveries to the National Distribution Centre (NDC)
  • Accurately booking in deliveries and conducting physical checks when required
  • Managing returned packaging from breweries and ensuring timely processing
  • Allocating outbound loads and preparing all required documentation in advance
  • Monitoring pre-picks, pre-allocations, and ensuring product readiness
  • Overseeing packaging allocation and meeting loading deadlines
  • Updating internal systems (including LAB screens) as required
  • Tracking turnaround times from breweries and maintaining operational flow
  • Resolving any on-shift issues efficiently and professionally
  • Conducting stock and product checks where necessary
  • Ensuring pallet network orders are processed accurately and on time

What We''re Looking For

We''re seeking a proactive and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Previous experience within FMCG or distribution environments
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems
  • Strong IT and computer skills
  • Experience working in a computerised warehouse setting
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • A methodical and detail-oriented approach
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A strong customer-focused mindset
