Production Operative
Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical Assembler Job Purpose To assemble simple and complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components in accordance with engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions, as directed by the Line Manager, and in line with company procedures and policies. Main Duties andamp; Responsibilities Complete all tasks safely and in accordance with company Health andamp; Safety policies. Demonstrate full competence in the safe use of various hand and bench tools. Attend any training courses required by the company. Interpret and understand engineering drawings and work instructions. Maintain a strong focus on quality in all mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly tasks. Follow verbal instructions from team members and the Line Manager. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Behave openly and honestly within the working environment. Undertake customer and supplier visits by car when required (full driving licence and valid passport required). Produce components to the quality standards required by the company. Qualifications Standard education level including English, Maths, and a science subject. Experience Experience assembling simple and complex mechanical/electro-mechanical components with strong attention to quality. Defence sector experience (preferred but not essential).
