Title: Mechanical Service Technician Salary: 38k - 42k Position Type: Permanent / Full Time Day Shift Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 to 17:00 Night Shift Working Hours: Sunday- Thursday 20:00 to 05:00 (2 weekly shift rotation) MJM Industrial are currently looking for a Mechanical Field Service Technician to join our team, responsible for maintaining, servicing, and installing Passenger Boarding Bridges and related equipment at various airport locations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills, with experience in 3-phase motors, switchgear, 24VDC PLC controls, roller bearings, chains and sprockets, and hydraulics. We seek a proactive individual with a ''can-do'' attitude, comfortable working day and night shifts, and adaptable to all weather conditions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to receive on-going training and development opportunities. Daily tasks: Once fully trained, the Field Service Technician will be added to the Standby/Call-Out Rota (details will be discussed during the interview). A company vehicle will be provided for the on-call period. The Field Service Technician is expected to adhere to the highest health and safety standards, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
