M&E Project Engineer (Electrical Bias)

We are seeking an experienced M&E Project Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a growing team based in Baildon. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong electrical background who is equally comfortable overseeing the full lifecycle of M&E project delivery.

This role operates within a lead engineer model, giving you full ownership of your projects from initial review through to final account and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and re-evaluate projects against initial estimates prior to commencement
• Procure materials and manage buying processes efficiently
• Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project programmes
• Oversee site delivery, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency
• Manage and enforce health & safety standards on site
• Prepare valuations and manage variations, including pricing and negotiation
• Drive projects through to completion, including final account agreement and handover

You may also support the estimating function during busy periods, so commercial awareness and a collaborative approach are essential.

• Strong electrical background with a solid understanding of full M&E project delivery
• Proven experience managing projects end-to-end
• Commercially aware, confident in valuations, cost control, and variations
• Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership
• Flexible and team-oriented, with a willingness to support across the business
