Job Advert: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: London and the South East

Salary: -30,000 - -34,000 per annum

Are you a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional with experience in water hygiene? We are looking for a dedicated Water Hygiene Engineer to join our growing team. This role will cover areas across London and the South East, providing essential water hygiene services to a wide range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine water hygiene inspections, including temperature monitoring, sampling, and tank cleaning.

Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

Carry out maintenance and remedial works related to water systems (e.g., disinfection, chlorination).

Liaise with clients to provide advice and ensure high standards of water safety.

Prepare and submit detailed reports after each visit, including findings and recommendations.

Work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.

Requirements:

Previous experience in water hygiene, legionella control, or similar roles.

Knowledge of relevant legislation, including L8 (Legionella) and other water hygiene standards.

Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients.

Full UK driving license and ability to travel within London and the South East.

Ideally, you will hold relevant water hygiene qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, WRAS).
