As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small-group support Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour Help pupils engage with their learning Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams Use positive behaviour strategies to encourage progress Support pupils'' confidence, independence and social development We''re looking for someone who is: Patient, calm and consistent Resilient and confident managing challenging behaviour Passionate about helping young people overcome barriers Able to build strong professional relationships Experienced in education, youth work, care, support work or a similar environment Experience with SEMH, AP, PRU or challenging behaviour is highly desirable, but we are also interested in candidates with transferable experience.
