Our world leading client are looking for a Cad Design Engineer on a long-term rolling contract.

Working week is Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs a week.

As a CAD Design Engineer, you will be:

• Provide 3D modelling, CAD and Engineering Design skills and knowledge to the Project Engineering team.
• Involvement in continuous improvement projects across the site
• Develop concepts into detailed designs on a broad range of manufacturing equipment.
• Upkeep of the site drawing database
• Supporting engineering projects through application of robust design methodologies to ensure achievement of project targets of time, cost, and performance.
• Supporting manufacturing operations with development of design concepts to solve manufacturing issues, including, plant layouts, machine modifications and new component design, P&ID’s
• Creating and maintaining CAD models, drawings and associated documentation
• Drawing data repository maintenance
• As part of the engineering team, you will support the safe operation of the site, including the use of industry standard risk assessment techniques, ensuring safe system of work.

As a CAD Engineer you will have:

• Recognised Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
• Experience in industrial machine design and specification of process equipment
• CAD engineering experience in a manufacturing or process environment
• Development of P&ID’s, mechanical component designs, shop floor layouts, site services and utility plans  
• AUTOCAD Inventor CAD experience desirable
• AUTOCAD Electrical experience desirable
