Taylor Woodrow is recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join our regional civils team based in the Midlands. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Contracts Manager will be responsible for the delivery of civils schemes across the Sprint framework based in the West Midlands. This involves creating dedicated bus lanes and priority routes, primarily along major corridors like the A34 (Walsall to Birmingham) and A45 (Solihull and Birmingham Airport to Birmingham). The framework also encompasses utility diversions and bus stop construction to support the projectDutiesDevelop and drive our civils schemes from EDI stage to deliveryWork closely with our clients to build long lasting and collaborative relationships to enable successful delivery of projectsTake an active role in the planning stages of our schemesManage your site teams and supply chain partners to ensure work is carried out safely and within programWork closely with our Pre-Construction team and the client, assisting with the development of the programmes and influencing during the EDI stageDevelop and manage contractual programmes, updating cost forecasts alongside the commercial team.Develop individuals in your team, through coaching and trainingEnsure materials, plant and sub-contractors are procured to meet targetsAssist the Operations Manager with identifying future work opportunities within the regionPerson SpecificationExperience in the delivery of multiple civils schemes or a major project within highwaysA formal qualification in a civil engineering related subject is advantageousKnowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contractsContract Type: PermanentHours: Full Time - 40 hours - Monday to FridayFairness Inclusion and Respect
