We are working with a market leading engineering and infrastructure group seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join their in house legal function.This role supports a multi brand business operating across utilities, water and engineered solutions, providing practical commercial legal advice in a fast paced environment.The position is based at the group head office in Chandlers Ford and offers genuine exposure to complex, business critical contracts across the UK utilities and infrastructure space.Key Responsibilities Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts including MSAs, framework agreements, supply chain, service, distribution, manufacturing and data processing agreements. Providing clear, commercially focused legal advice on contract risk, obligations and compliance matters. Supporting the implementation and ongoing management of contract policies, templates and playbooks. Drafting and maintaining standard terms and conditions and advising internal stakeholders on their application. Advising on utility framework agreements and supporting negotiations where required. Communicating legal risks, protections and obligations in a clear and practical way to non legal teams. Supporting compliance across the business by translating contractual requirements into operational actions.
