Position: Senior BI Developer Location: Preston Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Hybrid - once a week in the office, twice a week for a while at the beginning. We are currently working with a company within the clinical research and life sciences sector. We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join the high-performing data function. This is a brand new position for the business, all down to their expansion and growth, there are forecasting a big 2026 for the business - this is the prefect time to join. This role is a senior, hands-on BI position responsible for leading the organisation''s BI capability and owning Power BI end-to-end. This involves designing high-quality dashboards and reports, optimising data models, and translating business needs into clear, actionable insights. Working closely with technical teams and senior stakeholders, the role plays a key part in driving data-informed decision-making across the organisation. We are specifically looking for someone who is strong on the gathering of analytical requirements, working with stakeholders to understand those and push back where needed. As the business grows, new reports and insights are required and that is where this role comes in. Currently there are over 30 reports currently in place, which are good but can be improved and standardised.
