Are you a passionate and motivated Science Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Burnham? We are working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school seeking a committed teacher to join their successful Science department on a full-time basis.
The Role
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available for suitably experienced candidates). You will inspire curiosity, encourage investigative learning, and support pupils to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative and well-structured Science lessons
- Teach Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics in line with the national curriculum
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress effectively
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school team
- Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS (unqualified teachers also welcome to apply )
- Strong subject knowledge in Science
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to pupil progress
- Excellent classroom management skills
- ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
