Vacancy: Assistant Manager

Location: Bristol, Avon
Working hours: Monday-Friday with alternate Saturday mornings.
Salary & Benefits: Salary up to £36,000 + bonus, pension scheme and other benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced trade merchant professional to join this market-leading distributor of electrical products.

The ability to positively influence relationships with both customers and suppliers is essential, for which you will need some supervisory experience and ideally some knowledge of electrical wholesale products.

Responsibilities
•      Work alongside the branch manager and take responsibility for branch activities when they are off site
•    Provide customers with great service ensuring their continued loyalty
•    Manage sales and look after key customers where required
•    Sourcing special items if required
•    You will have day-to-day operational responsibility and a hands on approach to the business.
•       You will be working as part of the team as well as supervising the branch operations
•    You will be developing good working relationships with customers whilst managing an small team

Requirements
•    Recent or current electrical wholesale experience.
•    Full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
•    Strong organisational and leadership skills to empower and develop their team and lead by example.
