Pay, Reward and Employment Services Team Leader needed in Durham Paying £18.35 per hr ref Full time hours on a temporary basis Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the Pay, Reward and Employment Services team, managing workloads, performance, training and development. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payrolls, contractual changes, pensions, employee records and employment documentation. Provide expert advice and guidance to managers, schools and services on payroll, employment matters, pay and reward, job evaluation, and employment terms and conditions. Support and lead HR/Payroll projects, including job evaluation, workforce initiatives, system developments and service improvements. Contribute to the development of HR strategies, policies, procedures and service plans. Manage and monitor HR/Payroll systems, including ResourceLink/Zellis and other related platforms. Oversee workforce data analysis, reporting, audits, compliance activities and statutory returns. Support pension administration, including Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and Teachers'' Pensions requirements. Monitor service levels, contracts and performance agreements to ensure high standards of customer service. Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, schools, external customers, auditors and partner organisations. Deputise for the Pay, Reward and Employment Services Manager when required.
