The Company
Our client is a specialist manufacturing business producing precision components and assemblies within a controlled production environment.
The Role
The role will involve carrying out machining and associated production processes used in the manufacture of small precision components.
You will work from drawings and work instructions while maintaining strong standards around quality, Health & Safety and COSHH.
Key Responsibilities
- Mounting components ready for machining.
- Operating machining equipment.
- Carrying out precision machining processes.
- Cleaning components after machining.
- Checking completed work for quality and accuracy.
- Following drawings and work instructions.
- Handling small precision components.
- Completing general production duties.
- Following Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
Skills & Experience
- Previous machining experience preferred but not essential.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Engineering qualification preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience beneficial.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow drawings and instructions accurately.
- Comfortable working within a structured production environment.
Package
- -24,406 to -24,952 per year.
- 35 hours per week.
- Standard day shifts.
- 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
- 3.5% employer pension contribution.
- Occasional overtime may be available.
Additional Requirements
The successful candidate will be required to pass a basic DBS check and meet relevant security requirements.
