Mechanical Service Engineer Location: Crawley area Salary: 40,000- 47,000 per annumA leading provider of engineering services to heavy industry is seeking a Mechanical Service Engineer ideally with Aggregate experience. The role involves travelling to client sites to perform mechanical repairs, maintenance, and fault-finding on rotating equipment, turbines, pumps, and BOP systems. Key Responsibilities:Diagnose, repair, and maintain rotating equipment and auxiliary plantConduct inspections, fault-finding, and prepare technical reportsAssist with planned projects, outages, and workshop activitiesUse measuring tools such as micrometers and alignment equipmentManage schedules efficiently and work independently or in a teamBe available for callouts and occasional overnight stays Skills and Experience:Mechanical qualification (ONC, HNC, NVQ, or equivalent)Proven experience in fault finding, repair, installation, and commissioningKnowledge of heavy engineering sectors, ideally AggregatesOEM pump or turbine experience desirableFull driving licence requiredStrong technical, communication, and customer service skills Benefits:Salary 40,000- 47,000 DOETravel and overnight allowancesBonus and healthcareCompany van, fuel card, tools, PPE, laptop, phonePension, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, uncapped overtime Important: Sponsorship is not available.
