We are working with an established manufacturing business in the Goole area to recruit an experienced Interim Management Accountant for an initial three-month assignment. This is a hands-on role supporting the Financial Director and wider finance team through a particularly busy period. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable getting quickly up to speed and taking ownership of a broad range of management accounting, year-end and cash-flow responsibilities. Key responsibilities will include: Preparation of management accounts and supporting month-end and year-end reporting Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of outstanding items Preparation and review of accruals and prepayments Intercompany reconciliations and balancing Supporting the year-end audit and statutory accounts process Cash-flow reporting and preparation of rolling cash-flow forecasts Supporting invoice discounting / credit-related reconciliations and reporting Payroll year-end support and cover where required Preparation of other financial forecasts and supporting budgeting activity Supporting the business with its year-end stock count and associated stock accounting Daily cash and bank reporting Supporting payment planning and cash management Assisting with VAT and other periodic financial submissions Providing financial analysis and ad hoc support to the Financial Director The successful candidate: You will ideally be a qualified or experienced Management Accountant with a strong ..... full job details .....
