Our client is respected globally and operates within a highly regulated and innovative industry. The Group Accountant will play a key role, working closely with senior management level helping effectively drive the business through a period of signification investment and growth. The key duties and responsibilities will include: Oversee subsidiary accounts and manage reporting tool. Management and control of full statutory reporting process. Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Undertake proprietary work prior to half year and year end account submissions. Audit group accounts and liaise with other business units to ensure clean ledgers, providing necessary support to external auditors where required. Assisting in the implementation of accounting standards and best practices to enhance reporting efficiency and effectiveness. Adhoc tasks and processes where appropriate. The main candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CA) who can demonstrate proven experience working on group financial statements and effectively operating across multiple business units.
