As Finance Manager, you will work closely with the Managing Director and take responsibility for the financial administration of a busy project-based business. This is a hands-on position requiring a candidate who is comfortable owning the finance function and supporting the wider business through accurate financial management and reporting. The successful Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing purchase and sales ledgers, project costing, payroll administration, credit control, banking and cash management activities. You will manage supplier accounts, customer invoicing, payroll submissions, CIS administration, pension administration, HMRC reporting and payments, while ensuring financial records remain accurate and deadlines are met.
