Classroom Assistant Newbury (RG20) Location: Newbury, Welford, West Berkshire Salary: £95 £110 per day, depending on experience Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday Start Date: As soon as possible Hours: 8:30am 3:30pm, term time only Your Role As a Classroom Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils with their learning on a 1:1 and small-group basis. Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours. Supporting children with additional learning needs, including SEND. Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a calm, inclusive classroom environment. Helping pupils with literacy, numeracy and other curriculum activities. Monitoring pupils'' progress and providing feedback to teaching staff. Supporting pupils'' social and emotional development where required.
