Job description: My client is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for residential and commercial projects. This includes analysing drawings, specifications, and other documents to assess material, labour, and time requirements. You will work closely with the commercial, design, production, and procurement teams to ensure projects are accurately scoped and priced from concept through completion. Main Responsibilities: Review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and scope documents to prepare accurate cost estimates. Prepare detailed and accurate take off for quantifying materials, labour, and equipment needed for projects. Work with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and evaluate quotes. Prepare detailed tender submissions, budgets, and cost plans. Participate in pre-construction planning, including risk analysis and value engineering. Collaborate with design, production, and project management teams to refine and validate estimates. Monitor costs during the lifecycle of a project and provide cost comparisons against estimates and Post project reviews and reports. Preparation of bid proposals and tender documentation.
