We are currently recruiting Catering Assistants for ongoing temporary work in care homes across the Taunton area.
You will be paid weekly and accrue holiday pay with every shift!
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the safe preparation and service of meals to residents in line with dietary requirements
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
Follow food safety, allergy, and health andamp; safety guidelines at all times
Support kitchen staff with washing up and general kitchen duties
Communicate clearly and respectfully with care home staff and residents to ensure smooth mealtime service
Requirements:
An Enhanced DBS certificate is preferred; if you donandrsquo;t have one, we can support you in applying
Previous experience in a care home or catering environment is advantageous but not essential
