Our client a well established law firm are currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Revenue Controller to join their large, busy and friendly revenue team, reporting in to the Head of Revenue Control. Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue ControlManage aged work in progress (WIP) and liaise with partners to meet budgetsAct as main contact for one business divisionProduce billing forecasts, WIP analysis, and billable time reportsReview and update WIP provisions monthlyEnsure accurate time recording, authorisation of edits, and resolution of temporary entriesBillingProduce accurate bills in line with VAT and Solicitor''s Accounts RulesProcess authorised write-offs and prepared credit notesEnsure bills are issued promptlyCredit ControlManage outstanding debts for the assigned divisionProactively chase overdue invoices and liaise with partners and fee earnersEscalate problem debts and update bad debt provisions monthlyProduce statements and reminder lettersSkills and ExperienceRevenue and credit control experience, ideally within the legal sectorExperience with CMS or Elite preferredStrong numerical, organisational, and communication skillsCommercial and client-focused mindsetHigh attention to detail and integrityAbility to work autonomously and ..... full job details .....
