We are looking for a children Social Worker to join a Children in Care team. This role requires a Social Work qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contract/s. About the teamThis team works to support children based in residential settings, foster care and special guardianship settings to ensure they are getting the support they need. The day-to-day responsibilities include regular visits every 6-12 weeks, reviewing care plans every 6 months and taking part in court proceedings when necessary. This team offers regular supervision to all their Social Worker''s to ensure comprehensive support is given when dealing with complex cases.About you A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years experience in permanent contract/s is essential in order to be considered for this role. Experience in completing court work, safeguarding assessments and CIC assessments lends well to the success of this role.
