This is a hands-on and varied finance role, reporting directly to the Finance Director and supporting the day-to-day financial and commercial running of the business. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a broad range of financial activities, including financial reporting, PandL and Balance Sheet preparation, banking, BACS payments and reconciliations, while also helping to oversee the Purchase Ledger and Credit Control functions. This role would suit an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a busy business environment and is comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day finance operations. Key Responsibilities: Financial Control and Reporting. Prepare accurate Profit and Loss (PandL) accounts. Prepare and maintain Balance Sheets. Produce regular financial and management reports. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Assist with month-end and year-end procedures. Identify and investigate financial discrepancies. Provide financial information and analysis to the Finance Director. Support the Finance Director with financial planning and reporting. Manage day-to-day banking activities.
