The OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for a Mobile Gardener covering the North region, with Harrogate used as the base site. This is a full time permanent position, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary of 26,722 per annum. This is a mobile role responsible for maintaining cemeteries and memorial sites across the region. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on horticultural work and takes pride in maintaining outdoor spaces to a consistently high standard. You will work independently across multiple locations while ensuring all sites are presented with care, respect, and attention to detail. Strong organisation and reliability are essential due to the mobile nature of the role. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out horticultural maintenance including mowing, edging, hedge cutting, weeding, and pruningApply pesticides and treatments in accordance with safe working practicesUndertake general caretaking duties across cemetery and memorial sitesPlan and organise daily workload across multiple locationsOrder plants, chemicals, fertilisers, PPE, and equipment as requiredOperate, maintain, and carry out routine checks on machinery and vehiclesReport structural defects or environmental changes to managementAdhere strictly to Health and Safety procedures and safe working practicesComplete administrative tasks using a smart tablet and IT systemsMaintain high standards of presentation and site care at all times RequirementsNVQ Level 2 in ..... full job details .....
