We are looking for a detail-driven experienced CAD Engineer to join our client''s High Wycombe team on an initial 12 month contract to start as soon as possible. You will play a crucial role in designing, drafting, and developing technical drawings for our client''s lighting products and systems.Working closely with engineering, design and production teams, you''ll create accurate 2D and 3D CAD models, support pre-commissioning via Perspective software, and contribute to efficient project delivery.Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret and receive lighting layout drawings from contractors/clientsUse AutoCAD to create backdrops and prepare filesExport drawings into our Perspective graphical supervisor softwarePopulate Perspective with lighting icons, create network trees, and assist with pre-commissioningProduce and revise technical drawings, schematics and documentationWork collaboratively across teams to resolve technical issuesMaintain organised records of designs, revisions and specificationsProvide progress updates and project reportsSupport the Estimating team with quotationsContribute ideas to improve product design, efficiency and functionalityPersonal AttributesExceptional attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsClear and confident communicatorHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple projectsEager to learn and adaptable to evolving tools and technologiesPatient, persistent and committed to producing high-quality ..... full job details .....
