Connect Appointments are recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to join our Fife-based engineering client.Within this role you will be travelling across the country to carry out engineering work on a number of distilleries - 80% of this work is located within Fife, with the other 20% further a field.What''s on offer:Full-time permanent positionMonday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pmOvertime and weekend work available during shutdown periods 17 to 19 per hour DOEWorking as a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring production lines are running to their full potential, as well as:General mechanical engineeringPump/mixer overhaulsInstallation of new equipmentLifting and riggingHandrail and walkway inspectionsHandrail and walkway repairsIndustrial door inspection and repairsInstallation projectsTo be successful in this role you will ideally be a time served Mechanical Engineer, with previous industrial experience.
