Senior Therapeutic Residential Support Worker/Team leader Wellingborough, Northamptonshire 33,280 + an additional 55 per sleep-in I am looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to offer unparalleled residential care for children and young people with complex needs. This is a fantastic new residential home for children and young people that strive to create a warm, safe and nurturing home environment. In this role you will: Be responsible for providing day to day care for children and young people Work as part of a dedicated team, ensuring that care teams are maintaining their therapeutic approach and providing direct work with the children Lead shifts and manage a staff team Assist in leading staff to operate within legal parameters Ensure the home is kept to a good standard, including cooking and cleaning and of course safeguarding welfare at all times Support the business, clinical and social development of the service To be successful in the role you will need: NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent) Experience of working with young people who have challenging behaviours Experience of leading shifts Experience of supervising care staff The ability to work to a rota, including days, sleep-ins, weekends and statutory holidays A full UK Manual driving licence Further incentives Excellent career progression Paid level 5 training, following probation Performance Bonuses Paid over time Not all inclusive For more information, please ..... full job details .....
