The Role: Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will support the business by consolidating and analysing financial data, preparing reports, and providing strategic information and advice to the board and joint venture partners. This process-driven role includes preparing monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, budgets, profit and cashflow forecasts, cost analysis reports, and providing recommendations for cost efficiencies. Duties include: Management Accounts and Reporting Prepare monthly management accounts from trial balances within 10 working days of month-end. Review WIP and loan accounts Accrual, and prepayment adjustments Reconciliations for all GL accounts and investigating any differences. Costs of sales adjustments Detailed variance analysis for gross margin and overheads Prepare reports for management and joint venture partners (PandL, balance sheet, cashflow statements). Statutory Accounts and Tax Prepare statutory accounts for all group operating companies. Prepare corporation tax computations and liaise with auditors and external tax accountants.
