Teachwise is currently looking for a cover supervisor for a mainstream secondary school in the Rochdale area. The role will begin asap and will continue on an ongoing ad-hoc basis. The role of a cover supervisor is a varied one and no two days are the same! You will be delivering pre-set work to pupils from year 7 - year 11 in a variety of subjects, helping pupils understand the topics, provide any support they require and manage any behavioural issues within the classroom. Ideally, you will have worked as a cover supervisor in a secondary school or academy previously or will have worked as a teaching assistant or support assistant and are now looking to manage a classroom.
