As a Welder, Fabricator and Assembly Operative, you ll be responsible for manufacturing steel frames, doors, panels and associated products, working accurately from detailed drawings and specifications. This is a hands-on shop-floor role where quality, consistency and attention to detail are key. You ll be responsible for: Welding, fabricating and assembling steel products to detailed drawings Producing steel frames, doors and panel variants to specification Working on both project-specific and standard stock components Ensuring weld quality, consistency and integrity at every stage Self-inspecting your work to required quality standards Highlighting and recording any issues, variances or improvements Working to production deadlines and lead times Following all Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices Supporting general production and housekeeping activities when required Contributing to continuous improvement and quality initiatives Supporting internal quality audits when required This role suits someone who takes pride in precision, reliability and producing work to a high standard.
