Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Birmingham & Midlands (Field-Based)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: -38,000 - -48,000 (DOE) + Overtime + Call-Out

Alecto Recruitment is working with a well-established and growing HVAC specialist seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their Midlands-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a varied role covering installation, service, maintenance, and fault-finding.

You will be covering Birmingham and the surrounding areas, working across a mix of commercial and residential sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, service, and maintenance of air conditioning systems
• Fault diagnosis and reactive repairs
• Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
• Working on split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF systems
• Completing service reports and compliance documentation
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards
• Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with clients on-site

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer
• F-Gas Category 1 (essential)
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (desirable)
• Strong electrical and fault-finding knowledge
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and represent the business professionally
