Systems Engineer 78.30ph, UMB inside IR353 days p/w onsite in Wimborne12-month contractBPSS clearance onlyOur client in the defence and security sector is seeking a Systems Engineer for an initial 12-month contract based in Wimborne. The role focuses on front-end systems engineering across the left-hand side of the V-model, including requirements capture, systems architecture, modelling and design, with progression through to Verification and Validation (VandV).Key Responsibilities:Capturing, analysing and managing system requirementsDeveloping and maintaining system architecturesApplying Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to systems developmentCreating system models and supporting design activitiesManaging technical traceability across the systems engineering lifecycleSupporting the progression of systems from early definition through to Verification and ValidationWorking collaboratively with engineering, project and customer teamsJob Requirements:Experience in systems engineering within the defence, security or other highly regulated environmentStrong understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering and systems engineering processesExperience in requirements capture and managementKnowledge of systems architecture, modelling and designUnderstanding of the V-model and experience progressing systems through to Verification and ValidationExperience using Sparx Enterprise Architect would be advantageousFamiliarity with SysML, UML or IBM Rhapsody is ..... full job details .....
