Red Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join a leading precision engineering manufacturer based in Redditch. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business, working on a wide range of production machinery and playing a key role in keeping manufacturing operations running efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Responding to machine breakdowns and carrying out fault finding Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical and pneumatic faults Maintaining production machinery and site equipment Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime Completing maintenance records accurately Ensuring all work is carried out in line with Health and Safety procedures Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site Requirements: Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds, Apprenticeship or equivalent) Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environment Strong electrical fault-finding skills Good mechanical knowledge Experience with PLCs, motors, drives and production machinery Ability to work independently and prioritise workload Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Desirable: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Experience maintaining power presses or heavy manufacturing equipment Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance experience Benefits: 38,000 - 42,000 per ..... full job details .....
