Learning Support Assistant - SEN School

The Role:

You will work alongside teaching staff and the SENCO to provide tailored support across Key Stage 1, with responsibilities matched to your experience and the specific needs of the pupils.

Key Duties:

  Deliver targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy, and emotional development

  
  



• 
  

  Support the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

  
  



• 
  

  Promote positive behaviour and encourage active participation in lessons

  
  



• 
  

  Develop strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff

  
  



• 
  

  Adapt learning materials to meet individual learning styles

  
  



• 
  

  Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher

  
  



• 
  

  Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

  
  

What We''re Looking For:

  Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting

  
  



• 
  

  A calm, empathetic, and proactive attitude

  Strong communication and teamwork skills

  Flexibility and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting children''s learning
