The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT to teach History in a well-established and ‘Outstanding’ Humanities Department. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students, making History both accessible and relevant. Teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4, you will have the opportunity to shape young minds, helping them understand historical events and their impact on the world today. You will also work closely with two other ECTs, receiving shared guidance and mentorship.
 
The Candidate
The school is looking for a dedicated and passionate History teacher with:

- A degree in History and QTS (or be on track to achieve it by September 2025)
- A strong understanding of the Key Stage 3 and 4 History curriculum
- Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create engaging and interactive lessons
- A collaborative approach to teaching and planning, sharing ideas with fellow teachers
- A desire to continuously improve and develop professionally
