Senior Software EngineerManchester tech start-up growing, seeking to expand its software engineering team. You will join a small engineering department and work within a cross-functional product-based team responsible for building cloud-native, serverless systems in a collaborative DevOps environment.

OverviewThe teams are responsible for all aspects of the product they work on, from ideation through to deployment and maintenance. They value teamwork over individual heroics and focus on engineering best practices such as TDD, SOLID and Pair Programming.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the full product lifecycle from ideation to deployment and maintenance.

Apply engineering best practices (TDD, SOLID, Pair Programming).

Mentor other team members and collaborate with Product Managers.

Skills

TypeScript (Node, React)

Observability tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, Honeycomb, CloudWatch, etc.)

Benefits

Up to £70k base salary plus benefits

Hybrid working (2 days per week in Manchester)

2pm finish every Friday
