Operations Manager 37.5 hours per week 45,000 to 55,000 DOE Permanent role About the role: The Operations Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable day-to-day operation of the manufacturing business. The role ensures that customer orders are delivered on time, to the required quality standards and within budget, whilst driving continuous improvement across production, planning, purchasing, facilities and logistics. Lead operational performance and support the company''s growth objectives. Key Responsibilities: Production and Manufacturing Manage all manufacturing operations across welding, fabrication, assembly and warehouse functions. Ensure production schedules are achieved safely, efficiently and to quality standards. Monitor labour utilisation, capacity planning and operational performance. Lead daily production meetings and coordinate activities across departments. Identify and remove operational bottlenecks. Planning and Scheduling Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet customer delivery requirements. Ensure materials, labour and equipment resources are aligned with production demands. Manage production KPIs including On-time delivery, Productivity, Work in progress (WIP) Purchasing and Supply Chain Manage purchasing and material planning activities.
