Carpenter – 2nd Fix / Finishing Carpentry

Location: Biggleswade
Rate: £26.50 Per hour
Job Type: Temporary
Start Date: Immediate

The successful candidate will be confident carrying out 2nd fix and finishing carpentry, with a particular focus on door adjustments and internal finishing work.

• Adjusting and hanging internal doors
• Fitting door linings, frames and ironmongery
• Installing skirting boards
• Fitting architraves
• General 2nd fix carpentry
• Making adjustments and finishing work to a high standard
• Working from drawings and specifications where required
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

• Proven experience as a Carpenter
• Strong 2nd fix carpentry skills
• Experience adjusting and fitting doors
• Competent with skirting, architraves and general finishing work
• Own tools
• CSCS card
• Good attention to detail and quality of workmanship
• Reliable and able to work to deadlines
