This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy engineering team responsible for maintaining high-speed production equipment within a continuous manufacturing environment. The Role As a Shift Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to mechanical breakdowns and supporting continuous improvement across the site to maximise plant reliability and production performance. Your duties will include: Carrying out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults on production equipment Completing preventative maintenance schedules through the CMMS system Working on pumps, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors, fans and rotating equipment Fault finding and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Bearing replacement, coupling alignment and transmission belt maintenance General fabrication, machining, rigging and lifting duties Ensuring all work is completed safely in line with site procedures and ..... full job details .....
