About the role

As a department supervisor, you will support the team by taking responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the department. You''ll help lead, develop, and motivate your team, while ensuring the seasonal department runs smoothly and to a high standard. You''ll think ahead to prep and plan for the next season, while making sure customer service and sales standards are high.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting in leading and developing the team to deliver excellent service and great results
• Seasonal planning and merchandising
• Delivering sales targets and meeting KPI''s
• Supporting the wider team day-to-day
• Providing advice to customers and setting high service standards
• Maintaining standards through creative and attractive merchandising, stock presentation, and promotional execution

The ideal candidate

• Supervisory experience in a similar retail environment
• Hands-on and a proactive attitude
• A passion for customer service
• Product knowledge of seasonal products, including Christmas and outdoor furniture is desired
