Freelance Senior Site Manager / Project Manager

Location: Southeast London

Rate: £350 - £425 per day (DOE)

Duration: 6+ Month Contract, Potential Permanent Opportunity

Start date: October

Our client is a well-established multidisciplinary Demolition & Civil Engineering Principal Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering projects nationwide.

They are currently looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager or Project Manager to lead the delivery of a circa £2 million project in Southeast London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is comfortable operating as the No.1 on site, or an experienced Site Manager ready to take ownership.

Project Scope

• Demolition
• Earthworks
• Piling
• Associated civil engineering works

The Role

• Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project
• Managing subcontractors and site teams
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
• Client liaison and stakeholder management
• Overseeing quality and programme performance

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering civil engineering projects
• Strong understanding of earthworks and piling operations
• Ability to manage projects as the lead
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid as a minimum
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
