Quality InspectorPerm role, £45k-£55k pa DOE, Mon to ThursWETHERBYAre you an experienced Quality Inspector with experience working within the Precision Engineering sector and a keen interest in complex Geometry? If so, I am looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to work for one of my clients, an Engineering and Manufacturing company based in Wetherby.Working in a small team, your main role will be inspecting products against engineering drawings to assess whether products meet the required measurements and quality standards, using a range of hand tools, camera s and measuring instruments. Day to day tasks will include:-Ensure conformity for one off and small batch precision engineered components-Visual and dimensional inspection-Checking TIR, run out and angled geometry of products-Complete First Article Inspections and NCRs-Understanding of geometric tolerances and various surface finishings-Liaise with other departments when neededFor this role, you must have formal qualifications within Mechanical Engineering or similar (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, BTEC, HNC, HND etc.).
