This is a Hybrid working role that will see you Work from Home as well as travelling to a nearby office (ideally Warwick OR Camberley) from time to time. As a Senior Cloud Engineer you will build and enhance the engineering and technical relationship with both internal and external customers. You will also provide a pro-active service in all aspects of enhanced service delivery and will provide a bridge between the Engineering team and Service Delivery, Projects and Service Desk teams within Telent to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is at the forefront of all our commitments.Help build and keep the nation''s critical infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.To act as a technical lead within their nominated customer account for both internal and external requirementsTo train/mentor internal engineering staff and customers on products and solutions relating to On-prem and Microsoft AzureTo maintain awareness of all customers incidents and report where necessary on nominated accountsTo be responsible and accountable for all documentation and technical information relating to customer networksTo assist with Proof of Concept (POC) scenarios, Type Approval activities and pre/post-change lab testing in both customer facing and Telent lab spacesTo help in the creation of TA, POC, RFC, WI and SoW documentationAssist and/or lead in the pre-staging of equipment to be installed on customer sites as part of projects or installsTo attend, support reviews, project roadmap, monthly service reviews and weekly incident reviewsTo take the lead in value-add projects and innovationsDemonstrable experience in supporting Enterprise Grade Data Centre (DC) and Cloud Infrastructure, and Cloud based NetworksTechnically apt across Cloud / Focal Engineering / Azure Cloud / On-premWe nurture the talent that makes this happen, by our on-going commitment to creating an inclusive culture that respects and values difference, that celebrates diverse ideas.
