Lamination OperatorCompetitive Salary + BenefitsBlackburnDays Only (Mon-Thur), Overtime Premiums Available (Fri-Sun)gap technical are proud to be representing this manufacturing business in their search for a Lamination Operator / Laminator to work at their facility based near BlackburnPerformance ObjectivesPrepare moulds and work surfaces by cleaning and applying release agents.Cut, lay-up, and fit composite materials, such as carbon fibre, according to engineering drawings and work instructions.Apply resin and other bonding agents to composite materials, ensuring even distribution and proper adhesion.Utilise hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to assemble and fit composite components.Inspect laminated parts for defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and tolerances.Trim, sand, and finish laminated components to meet specified dimensions and surface finishes.Work closely with production team leaders and quality control to ensure all parts meet the required specifications.Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of laminating tools and equipment.Person SpecificationPrevious experience in laminating, fitting, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.understanding of laminating techniques.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in laminating and fitting processes.Excellent attention to ..... full job details .....
