Our client is a well-established tour operator based in North London. They are seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team. The role is office based Monday to Friday with a salary of up to £35,000 dependent on experience.Finance Assistant responsibilities:Daily bank reconciliation between accounting and travel systemProcess invoices from overseas suppliers and investigating discrepancies, liaising between different departments to ensure accuracyRecording of monies paid in and outRunning client debtors reports and chasing money owed Setting up invoices and investigating discrepanciesMaintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in all financial entriesFinance Assistant skills required:Previous experience in a similar role preferably within the travel or hospitality industry but not essential Ability to multi-task and good organisational skillsExperience of dealing with a variety of bank accounts and suppliersGood interpersonal skills are key to maintain good relationships and lines of communications with supplier accounts departmentsExperience with Xero beneficial but not essentialAdditional information:Salary up to £35,000 dependent on experienceMonday-Friday office based22 days ..... full job details .....
