Interim Head of Curriculum and Quality - SENDLocation: Sutton (on-site, 5 days per week)Contract: Interim - 3 months initially (potential extension)Rate: Up to £350 per day (Umbrella)Start: ASAPWe are seeking an experienced and impactful Interim Head of Curriculum and Quality - SEND to lead and strengthen our SEND provision during a key period of development and improvement.This is a senior leadership role, ideal for an accomplished SEND or FE professional with a strong background in curriculum leadership, quality assurance, and team management within post-16 education.Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the SEND curriculum, ensuring it is high quality, sustainable and aligned to strategic priorities.Drive improvements in teaching, learning and assessment across SEND provision.Oversee quality assurance processes including SARs, QIPs, internal audits and inspection readiness.Line manages tutors, assessors and IQAs, including performance management and professional development.Monitor and improve learner outcomes including attendance, retention, achievement and progression.Ensure compliance with Ofsted, funding body and safeguarding requirements.Build effective partnerships with employers, community organisations and key stakeholders.Contribute to strategic planning, curriculum development and quality improvement activity.
